Hi All,

I'm looking for a 100Ah+ AGM or deep discharge battery, has anyone got any recommendations for the best price in Melbourne?

Cheers

Try Chris at Batteryworld Wantirna. Not only is he a top bloke - but he knows his stuff and is very competitive on pricing.

Contact number is 9800 5188 and the adress is Corner Boronia and Wantirna Roads, Wantirna VIC 3152

I know of a few on EO that use his services and are happy.

BTW, I bought a Remco 100ah AGM from him 2 years ago - cannot remember the price - but it was the best I could find at the time (remember that bit!). He also mounted it in a battery box with hella sockets, ciggi bank and reset breaker. Also installed a Redarc - very good job done. Setup is still going strong

Call Alco Battery Sales
Phone: 03 9336 4477

They import Fullriver and equivalent. I've bought a couple of batteries from them and prices have been very good. 90AH Fullriver was under $200.

Like Moggs said,

Chris at Battery World Wantirna. I've bought a Lifeline and a Remco from him, his prices are right on the money.

But more importantly his help, service, backup is second to none.

I happened to pop in to see him one day and he helped me fit wiring for an UHF radio. No charge as I have been a previous customer.

He loaned me his own car whilst my dual battery was being fitted.

A top bloke.

Should his price be a few bucks dearer than a "discounter", and I doubt it would, it is a sound investment.
