simple
i spent a weekend at the Araluen Valley Hotel (araluen pub) a coupla weeks ago. fantastic place. great step off point for
Bendethera or just adventuring round the area.
Steve and Elise (the new owners) were really good. and like their 4wd's too.
so just a big cheers to them for a great weekend.

Yes, top spot - have stayed with Stan and Margaret (previous owners) a few times - spoken to Steve since they've moved in but our trip fell through - he sounds like a good bloke -
Bendethera via Merricumbene (turn off at Dry Ck) is just beautiful

yeah we went up that trail but only made it half way so we could be back at the pub for tea.
we're already planning another trip so we get into
bendethera next time.
