I was recently given a copy of an article written by this guy about using engel's and other fridges above 15 degrees latitude. Would really like to contact him. The article refers to him being in Darwin in 2003. Does anybody know of him or his present whereabouts. I have a website but it doesn't seem to be current.

Hmmm...that name rings a bell.

My memory is a tad faded as I left Darwin some years ago but I think Michael Meech had a Refrigeration business in the Winnellie Industrial Area, Darwin.

Maybe try the White Pages. If you get no result let me know and I can make contact with a friend in Darwin.

Thanks Willem. There is only one repairer listed in Winnellie - seems to have the market wrapped up. He's the agent for all the big names of household fridges. I'll give the number a ring later on today and see if it's the right place or not.

I remember the web site and found it interesting reading. I couldn't find it again though.

I did a google search and found a reference to Michael John Meech at

http://www.solar-dc-marine.com, but this seems to be mainly a set of links.

There was a phone number 08 8984 3733 which you could try.
