Des Lexic had a great Winch instruction shown to him whilst in the high country in the last few weeks, I will leave it to him to elaborate

Nah mate, just how I was going to pull a tree off the road having not tested the weight and Des decided to lift it and pull it another way. A couple of days later a team including Blaze helped with another tree on the Howqua River Road.

Blaze having a lend of ya! Trying to provide a vehicle for Des. Too many Blazes in the HC these days! Perhaps he should change his name in respect.

Glenn, pleased you and Sadie got home safely.

It was actually a case of a boy with his new toy. John pulled up and had a chain and the winch unravelled and I simply picked the twig up and chucked it off to the side of the road. The look on John's face was worth a million dollars.
I agree with the blazes being for too common over there at the moment. Looks like the next few days will be pretty bad too.

Okay, so the truth is now out............Mr Lexic is , indeed, a very powerful man..... (he'd have to be with the amount of pushing he does at the back of the maroon monster...hahaha).

As for that "Blaze" character.........he's been a bit busy around the Riverland area too lately........lol

BTW, Des, what's the latest on your movements this weekend? I'm not sure what we're doing now, given that I have TWO Patrols......the transition phase is taking on MAMMOTH proportions. I can either come down for the weekend and camp (but would have to bring the 4.2TD), or come down for a day trip on the saturday in the Chev. I haven't got the trailer plug wired up yet on the Chev, so I can't haul the Ultimate behind it (without breaking the law). Have got a Prodigy brake controller organised from Derek (ABR), which should be here in a few days.

Friday is gunna be a stinker (38 in Adelaide, so about 40 up here).

I've got to go to Renmark tomorrow for a 2 day conference, but will a passenger in a bloody Camry!!

Gave Pesty the info last night. Coming over on Friday (arvo for me) and camping at Tiddy Widdy. Come in the decent powerd truck and you can borrow the 100 to drag the Ultimate over.
At least you will be travelling to Renmark in style and comfort (TOYOTA that is)

Have doctored Des' twig to make it look small enough for him to lift off the road.

Hi John,

Thanks for the company in th HC along with Des, would have been to much to bare having to put up with the TOJO crap the whole time so some Neeesan Tojo banter was good to listen to... LOL We had a good trip home TX and yes I agree my nick isn't really appropriate at this time. My brother and I an Des with Mrs Lexics help gridded a 2klm patch for Mallee Fowl nests in Taylor Ville a few weeks back, nothing there but ashes now. I know its nature but it takes some of these endangered species a long time to recover in this day and age with the limited area's left.

PS I did provide a good vehicle for Des and also got Roachie jumping in hehehehe
