Howdy all
Tomorrow i am going to the auctions to hope fully buy my first 4x4 its a Nissan o3 4.2 turbo dx 11kms. So many questions i want to ask this
forum as it has been a great help in general knowledge. I think the first mod i will do will be an explore oz sticker. If any one can give me there opinion on price that would be great i have been told from 25K to mid 30's.
Just one more sleep

25-30k $ for an Explore Oz sticker, hmmm, probably just a tad on the high side.

Don't want to sound negative but...
I'd be asking myself who the previous owner was, and why it was being auctioned at 11K.

stephen,
Did the same thing myself with the 105 tojo. Went to the inspection day and picked out a couple of goodies (there were some GREAT SES vehicles there similar to what you've suggested). They allow you to look at the service books, which will often detail their previous owner (ie the particular branch they come from), who can be contacted and asked whether the car has been bingled etc.... .
If you do your homework you will pick up a great car at a bargain price. My 105 with 45k, ARB Bar with 12k Warn winch, cargo barrier, tow bar and dual batts was $30k exactly.....similar Tojo's were $42k + at the stealers... it's the way to go if you're on the ball...!
Cheers,
Mark
Ps One of the ex SES Nissans with 11k km and similar acessories as
mine went for $31.6k. This was about 10 months ago, so not sure about the current prices.
