What a great trip. My wife, Jenny and I are heading south at the end of feb to do a similar thing. We are really looking forward to it.
Are there any tips you have on
what to take and what not to take. We will ve in an off road caravan.

Your sense of adventure and a sense of humor. Everyone trip is different and you will have you own breakdowns and stories - but that is what will make great experience. so sorry much much advise to offer except enjoy it in the bounds of your abilities and your vehicles.
