I have had to install new aerial in my GQ. Couldn't get the original out!. Lead runs from Bullbar. Works a charm when engine not running (petrol). Continual interference when it is. I have read the archives but can't get an answer that I understand! I believe I can fit something to the high voltage lead to cure this - question what and how? Not clever in this area. Advice please.
Many thanks
Mike

Did you have this issue before new aerial ?
If you did not then its likely related to installation.
Often the earth (outer cable) does not make contact at either end -sometimes
it can be as simple as paint under mount hole.

I had to repalce the aerial because broadcast radio only received on FM! Now receives FM, MF and SW but get this interference which relates more to engine power than revs ie worse under load?
