YES!! I have been wanting a fridge slide for my Engel for ages but there was no way I was gonna
fork out $275 for one.
So for months Ive been watching Ebay, Trading Post,Exploroz trader and the local
Perth mag Quokka. Then yesterday I saw one for sale, phoned the guy and he said he had just put it on the net like 2 hrs ago. I said I want it! When I picked it up to my amazement it was like brand new, still had the original engel price tag on it and managed to get it for a low $150!! It's nice to have a win. Now.....can anyone tell me how to mount the sucker. Do I just drill four 8mm holes and run a couple of bolts into the floor pan??
All the best

I have one in my 80 series landcruiser and I cut out a plywood panel and put that on the floor which I secured through the bolts that hold the tie down loops. I mounted the fridge slide onto the plywood, rather than drilling more holes into the body of the car.
I had to be mindful that the fuel
tank is directly under the floor in my vehicle, but you may not have the same problem.
When I don't need the fridge/slide I just unbolt the ply floor and remove it, slide and all, and refit the bolts and the carpet.

Diesel Juice,
I used 8mm Stainless steel bolts with wing nuts to secure
mine. Although its mounted on the cargo drawer in the back of the ute. All it takes is to undo the wing nuts and remove the slide totally.
Cheers Kev
