As so many have said before here on this
forum, the quality of manufactured goods has dropped right down over the years.
My wheel barrow tube collapsed yesterday after only 70km.
Think I will go see my tyre bloke tomorrow and demand a new replacement FOC.
Mind you, it has been in the wheel for 7 seven years.
LOL
Cheers

Hang on Willem,
Was'nt it you who told us you filled the tyre with goop?
Me thinks it's another case of tyre abuse. You should be ashamed of yourself!

Kim

Bloody Hell, Kim...trust you to remember something like that. I should have made an archive on what I have posted here over the years, though it would probably fill a file or two...lol
Yes, but the valve stem got a cut in it and the smelly yellow goop ran out.
Cheers

Haven't you learnt yet old buddy. Coopers are no good on the Patrol and they are not even good enough for the wheel barrow.

Willem,
Do you really think I came down in the last shower mate)?
As you know we're all experts on this site and it doesn't help your case by admitting your a valve stem abuser as
well.
I'm really getting angry now mate (poor little valve).

Kim

what brand of odometer did you fit to the wheelbarrow in order to record 70 Klm? was the said odometer adjusted for the oversize tyre - ie was it really 70 or could it only have been 68 or even 72 Klm?
LOL

GazzaS
This is not a technical issue. Western Mexicans (WM) have little in the way of human values.
He can’t even relate to the care of a wheel barrow. What’s next, the Victor's
suspension is suddenly cactus after thirty years!
WM’s are attention seekers and, to make matters worse, wouldn’t buy a man a beer no matter what you did for them….!

It obviously needs split rims for all that off path work you do. :))

Has it been off-road?
The warranty mightn't cover it for that sort of abuse.....

Does the wheelbarrow have an open diff or some other form?
That'll have an impact on tyre life and therefore warranty!!

Hahahah...just an estimate. But yes, have a big yard and did do lots of work initially setting half acre of garden up. Buggered my knees in the process

70km??..my tube has been in the wheel for over 7 years and I think it would be lucky to have seen 7km!...you did make me realise I do not have a spare on there. I think I will put on a swing out wheel carrier, then I can mount a work light off the same bracket. Then maybe a Treg coupling and tow a small trailer with a fridge on it...engel or waeco tho? The possibilities are endless.

No way you'll get the warranty on that one Willem. You didn't rotate the tyres did you?
No I don't mean rotate them round and round as you push it. Read the fine print. You had to change them with each other....
What's that you say? Only one wheel. Come on mate, the fine print says no warranty if you don't rotate them. You can't talk your way into a freeby that easy.
