Diesel mechanic in Adelaide

Evening all. Done the search thing with little success. Any recommendation for a good diesel mechanic, preferably western suburbs. Not overly impressed with the dealers, but then who is??

I had a good experience with HiTech diesel services (Churchill Road from memory) a couple of years ago.

Peter Young,
Alltrac, South Rd, Mile End.
Practical sort of an operator, well used to remote 4 x 4 operation.
Wide experiences 4 x 4; 6 x 4; diesel, petrol, gas + diesel.
former Oka dealer/service bloke.
many variety Club 4 x 4 trips.

I'll put in a plug for Beck automotive - 10 Westport Rd Elizabeth West Ph 8255 6938, It;s a small buisness with 2 guys who ave been absoloutley fantastic. They are keep tourers too and have done a lot of customising and engeniring work as well so a great one stop shop, can get your car serviced ther eand I have spent many hours picking their brains from technical stuff to general camping and touring ideas, all of which they have offered willingly.. ( I drop a carton off to them every so often as appreciatio for the times they have patiently educated me to the tehocrap of diesels etc.. )

I had the injectors from my diesel rebuilt / reconditioned by Adelaide Fuel Injection Service.
They are a diesel specialist, have dyno facilities etc.
