Hi All, New to this GPS thing, but am looking into buying one anyway,After a bit of research I seem to like the look and capabilities of the Garmin Quest, Has anybody got one or used one and have an opinion on them.
Thanks in advance, RosscoH.

I use a Quest. It has features not on the 2610 like track recording , internal battery, I even use
mine in the top shirt pocket to measure how far I walk for exercise , but the best is that when connected to the computer you can download the track and store it in the files in the Garmin Folder, over 4000 klm it remembers every turn and stop and speed you do and that file can be kept , You might find it tricky to get the unlock code , ....actually you will get that with the unit, I had to get another code to upload the maps into a second GPS , I was amused to see the software even has the 4x4 track marked on the Vic-
SA border north of Bordertown right through to the Sturt Hwy, After you get used to it you will love it

Had one for about six months. My first GPS, and all totally alien to me at first. It's been a pretty steep learning curve. From what I've heard from others with GPS units, it seems one of the better all-round units available.

Rossco I also have a garmin Quest A good little unit what I like about it is the voice navigation turn by turn.
If you take a wrong turn it dosnt say a bad thing about you or yell and scream.
Mine just says big boy you have made a little mistake we can work this out I would suggest take the next turn.
All the best
Eric

Question for people who already have the quest.
What extras does it come with and what extras are worth buying?
