Hi mates, I've read all the posts about the Challenger, I'd like to buy a 98-99-2000 used ones. I'll arrive to Oz on January 12th, located in Southport,GC,Qld.
What should I check for this model, how many kms could the engine (3.0 V6) could last.
What's is the biggest cost of the main servicing. Sorry, I'm not a real expert.
I've already had so many helps in this wonderful forum, hope another efforts from you.
ThanX a lot

I to am not an expert either. All I can say is "Great Choice" I love my Challenger, and so far not had a single issue with it in 2 years. I bought mine second hand (2000 model) from a Mitsi dealer, and got a 3 year mechanical warranty thrown in...it basically covers all mechanical parts exc Labour, so an extra piece of mind.

Great choice in 4wd

I wish I could have a good bargain like you. I'm looking on used car website.
Are models from 1998 different from the ones from 2000?

Do you have Manual or AUTO ? About servicing, is it expensive? What is your average kms per litre? Sorry for all these questions, but I must have things clear in my mind.

I have 2001 auto, very reliable. Average fuel use is 12.3 around town and as low as 10,9 on highway depending on the load.

Here is some photos

Best advise is to take one for a test drive.
