Yes, I am a signatory to the petition..
BUT I think we're flogging a dead horse.. The powers that be have spoken, and in this case I don't think a petition is gonna change any of the decisions.
It is a political- not economical- decision here, and there is much more to the whole debacle that we'll find out about a few years down the track.
The CHC have already got the wedge in, operating out of
Wollongong.
And the government had the hide to ask the Careflight fundraisers to continue raising funds for the CHC operation !!!!!

You may be right signman, but unless someone tries how do we know it was a lost cause or not?
Stranger things happen in politics, IE the back down on Gardens of Stone NP extensions in
Capertee, buy way of protests and petitions, it was just after that back down that the sitting member Bob Devus decided to announce his retirement??????? Who knows?
We as a nation get what we deserve if no one stands up and says "NO" occasionally. It sometimes need to be done.
The fundraising item was a bit cheeky eh.
Thanks, On Patrol.

Keep it going OP. This particular mob of scumbuckets have a record of reversing, or at least modifying, decsions regarded as written in stone. Tne closer it gets to March, the more they resemble a collection of jellies :))))))))

Keep up the good work.
The Westpac Life Saver helicopters are a crucial service. We've only recently had ours reinstated last summer thanks to Westpac funding. Already has made a difference on SA beaches, and a great assistance to us surf life savers.
