Just picked up the new drawers made by a friend over the last few days. In the process of fitting the carpet tonight, and finally can keep the rear of the patrol a bit tidyer. The pocket on the RHS top houses the 100w folding solar panel kit supplied by Derek, & keeps them slightly out of view from prying eyes! Jodie and myself have been waiting a while to finally get something like this done in our vehicle and very happy now it's complete.!MPG:32!

What are you using for the fridge slider? A friend is looking for one for his 70L Evakool.
Cheers

It's the largest Black widow fridge slide they make.I made a few small adjust ments to suit the 60l Evakool. Very solid slide too, good runners and very sturdy.

Uncle great looken bit of gear,
Do you have an idea of the weight.
I made one similar from metal and it's great organiser but weighty.
Might have to do what you have done to get the wieght down & fab from timber.
I can't lift
mine on my own to fit it in the back of the 4wd I need a hand.
Scoof....

Hi Scoof, the fridge slide is 25kg's and after getting some help to put the whole unit in the back of the wagon,I'd say the drawer system weighs around45 to 50 kg's?(less the weight of the slide).

I made on very similar for my GU and it works
well. Everything is in the back ready to go and organised.
Looks better with the carpet.
Mine is made of marine ply on a steel frame. The carpet helps to hide my poor welding and carpentry skills.
Mine cost about $250-00 to make. That's a damn site cheaper than purchasing one from a manufacturer.

Gee Truckster,
When I first spotted that yellow can I thought you were a Queenslander.

What is the adjusted bracket that you speak of? The restriction on the small door annoys the hell out of me too.

Apparently TJM have the bracket, i know it is available, I'll search the Patrol
forum to see if I can find out where it was from...
Apparently you can also use the standard bracket, and just remote it, adn drill another hole in it further back, replace bracket and away you go... will check that too.
I think every patrol owner would be bleep with the stupid design!
