Compare it to this package and judge for yourself ==> Site Link
BTW I believe the meridian Gold was discontinued in december 2005....hence the cheap prices now, if that is of any use.

Are you getting the original Discover Aus disk with that or are they just loaded onto the card in the GPS.
I reckon a Gold with an obsolete copy of Discover Aus would be worth about $300 at best.
I was buying them from the USA new and getting two with accessories like the windscreen mount and power data cables for about $700 inc freight.
You can get a US Explorist 500 for
about US$185 and an XL for US$315.

Pepper2 Have a Magellan eXplorist XL. Do you have any idea how to load Discover Oz onto it?

Try reading this

some of the instruction are not relevant but should head you in right direction
