Hi All,
Here is one for the oldies amonst you!
I have a vacuum brake set up on the Cruiser (used to tow my boat). I decide to give the plugs on the rear end a clean and lube and now I can't get one of the plugs back in. PBR don't make a repair kit and I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the o'ring which I think has gone hard and won't let the plug
seat properly. I wouldn't bother repairing it only the car don't go with a huge pipe sucking air on the end.

Steve.
From memory its just a standard o ring. Pull the old one out with a sharp scriber or sewing needle, any bearing
shop will be able to supply a new ring. Eric

I do not understand? A vacuum brake set up with Plugs to the rear end?????? HHHMMMM This must over 30 years old as I have never heard of dedicated rear end Vaccuum assisted brakes?
You can always crimp the pipe. But as long as u still have hydraulic brakes with the truck......
I am curious. I would like to see some pics of it.

Hi Extfilm,
I have been trying all day to ulpoad a picture of the brake set up. Just worked now so you can see in my Profile. It is not as old as you think, I bought it in 1996. It is an excellent system really and stopped my 4 ton boat on a triaxle trailer really
well.
