Evening All,
I have just ordered a set of coilrites from Trucksprings for my 2003 100 series which has had a
suspension upgrade that included a 2 inch lift. When ordering the coilrites I told the guy about the lift and whether I would need any spacers to compensate for this or if in fact there was such a thing. His reply was that the kit didn't come with anything like that but something the size of a " hockey puck " would do.I don't know a hell of a lot about ice hockey but was wondering if leaving an extra section of the bump stop would work or if I even need to worry about it at all.Anyone had any experience with this one before ??
Thanks
Brad.

Hi bandk
I bought the coilrites from All Air
Suspension in Syd and they supplied a spacer for the lift. It is in a 120 Prado.
I had no end of trouble with punctured bags because of the spacer so I took the spacer out and just put new bump stops in but left a few rungs on. No dramas since. You just have to put the air bag next to the spring and get a rough measurement and then remove the bump stop and cut it at the right height. Insert the bags and bump stops and see how they sit. May take a couple of cuts.
A tip. When cutting the bumps stop with a hacksaw, have plenty of silicone spray handy.
Hope this helps

Thanks 120,
Can't wait for them to arrive. Do they perform the way you expected them to ?

I used a rubber wheel as a spacer,if you hunt around you can find them the right diameter and about 40mm thick, use the axle hole to bolt to spring mount base.
Do not be tempted to use the bags without a spacer as they will not last as long.
