Hi all,
We are looking at spending a couple of days
camping in the Johanna Beach /
Aire River area between Christmas and New Year.
Tent only.
Any suggestions on how quickly these areas fill up during this time, prererred sites etc would be appreciated
Thanks & Regards

G'day PGK,
You can imagine what
the beach is like over summer, Johanna Beach is a great spot for
camping, caravaning, surfing. If you go, get there early, try ringing the local shire and find out details(although I think you've left your run a bit late). Johanna has only a reasonably small area and probably gets packed out very early I can't say for sure as we have only been there during the off peak season but it's a great place.

Was at Johanna just last week and where I will keep away from Christmas and New Year as it will be busy as all hell. I would have to think so anyway with so much of the High Country out of action for driving and
camping for many months to come.
There arte other spots in the
Otways actually but that period is bound to busy. Get in early if you can't book ahead
