Just one had put on my 99 TD Jack, front end with FW hubs. Took to Far West Coast of SA fishing, a lot of beach work, worked a treat, again can't here any clicking, ut just plowed through the sand with low revs, no sand flicking up through the windows now! Outperformed an 80 series petrol auto on the sand (mines a manual), his car had to stop to cool trans and drop tyre pressures to 10, mine were at 14. No disadvantaces noticed, although others have said about steering problems I didn't notice any in sandy tight tracks.

Why would you want one in the rear when it is so good now? I think that rear LOKKAs can have more negative side effects. Good decision on the front though.

i agree it was allways going to be the front first but i do a lot of bush wich has lots of big ruts rocks and steep gravel hills an all wheel drive would be handy though with a lokka in the back it wouldnt be very nice on roads id like a manual locker in the back but there so expensive

The lokka in the front will make sand driving very easy.... You will not be able to bog it!

Hi Dirty,

What did it cost all up?

I've been thinking about it for a while.

Lokka in the front and ARB Air locker in the rear.

well done on getting a locker...it won't be long untill you are hooked and get 1 for the rear. i have front and rear lockers and when i go up a step "bugger that" incline i turn on 1 and see how i go...then the other...they both have there strong points. the front is the more practical. but when you have to go some where or tow some one there is nothing bettere than to lock the whole lot in and give it all you got!!!
