You're right... looks like it's not part of this version (even though it's in the help file)
Maybe in the next update?

I have been trying for the past two days ,I have reinstalled mapsend 2 thinking it might refresh some thing but it was the same ,so I have put down to my user error.
or it is a stuff up by mapsend. but it looks like a good way to plot a route.

Hello - Mapsend Lite is a "fix" for old mapsend products that provides an interface with the newer eXplorist units (which use usb and different format data files to Meridian units). Suspect the Street Route Toolbar Function requires you to have a version of Magellens DirectRoute installed on you computer. This product was only released for Europe and USA ...e.g.

https:// Site Link

So if you don't have one of these products installed on your computer the toolbar will not be activated i.e. you are wasting your time trying to get it to go (and mine by the looks:)

Cheers

Hello Wayne - I think you have not fully understood what I was trying to say - my understanding of the situation is that th function you are seeking to work ie Street Routes will not work with any currently available Australian Magellan Mapsend products. I am assuming you are using Mapsend Lite with either an Australian basemap, DiscoverAus Streets and Tracks (DAST) or DAST topo. These maps/programs do not have the correct data avialable that would allow street routing to be calculated using Mapsend Lite (or any other program).

As mentioned if you were in US or Europe you could purchase the Magellan Direct Route mapping program and then (I assume - educated guess) the Street Route function would be activated in Mapsend Lite. There would be no use buying a US/Eu Direct product and trying to use it in Australia as the map coverage is only US/Eu - so having the Street Route function on would serve no purpose - as soon as you loaded a Australian map (eg from DAST or DAST Topo) into mapsend lite the Street Route function would turn off. You are wasting your time trying to get it to work - the "patch" you are seeking does not exist.

Cheers
Greg
