Jimbo
Anyone camped there?
Buggered if I can find any information about it.
1. Is it near a River?
2. Are dogs allowed?
3. Is it a big
camp ground?
4. Anything else would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jim.

As far as I know there is no
camping allowed.
There are fishing spots along the river at Tarwin lower, a pub, some shops, and a caravan
park at
Venus Bay just down the road. Not sure if dogs are allowed.
Good surf fishing at
Venus Bay beach

It's a beautiful area Jimbo, particularly at this time of year when it's warmer, but probably the closest
camping ground would be the small one at Bear Gully in the Liptap Coastal
Park (I think it's on Bear Gully Road). From memory there are drop
toilets and barbecues there, too. Good drives and plenty to see up around Agnes Falls and Tarra Bulga.

. . . and of course you're close to
Sandy Point, which IMO is the best swimming in Victoria.
