Well the gathering at The Stamford I've been waiting for for months. Havent seen some of the crew for most of this year..
BuT....
Ive just been offered a paying job as 'assistant' (second) photographer in
Melbourne for a mate of mates business...
The job -->> Photographing the FHM GIRLS for a calendar! Decisions decisions!!!
Wonder how I would go taking photos with 1 hand.. :(
If you are unsure who the FHM girls are, google is your friend, but work warning!!
The problem is, its at a secret location that neither me or mate will find out.. Limo picks us up from his place and drives us there as part of the job..
What should I do... :P

Have drinks with your mates. Your mates will be there for you always but the girls ...you will no sonner come(sic) and then you or they will be gone and just a distant memory.

Ok truckie, you won't let him go and a supremely intelligent decision that was but what we have come to expect from someone such as yourself, the bearer of all knowledge and what is right in this
forum, I bet even Bonz looks to you for enlightenment.
Armed with that knowledge you hold you already know what is the right decision. that is to spend the evening with your EO friends, they need you much more than some girls who you'll only see again in some glossy mag somewhere.
Furthermore you would also know that it is the right thing to do to send someone in your place equal to the task and able to relay the experience to you. I can think of no-one better than myself for that task, a service I am willing to provide at no charge.

tough decision i was gunna invite you round for coffee early in the new year but it might have to wait as I KNOW WHAT I WOULD BE DOING AND I AM SORRY GUYS BUT IT WOULDNT INCLUDE DRINKING AT THE STAMFORD

I can just see it now..... Truckster gets collected in the limo in the crack of dawn half light and as it heads off down the street 26 highly equipped 4by's come roaring out of the surrounding side streets forming up behind the limo in a convoy heading for the photo shoot.
The limo does it's best to shake the massive tail but alas, some co-ordination on the UHF makes it impossible for Truckster to slip away. I am sure the guys would form a very appreciative audience at the shoot! Lots of cold fridges on hand for the food and drinks.
Gotta save paying for a function room at the Stamford!!!
