Found this link to the S.A. Motor Accident Survey Commission survey on Bull Bars.
It's worth a look and vote on the subject as you see fit.

It might be a good chance to rebut Mr. Scoobydoo

Hello Uncle Donut
You missed a good party on Saturday. Had visitors from all over the state and interstate. Roachie was coming but thenb made some excuse about having to work on his 3.75ly Chev or something like that and did not turn up.
Bullbars.
Interesting that 1% said they represented a safety
hazard to pedestrians and 5% said that they were unnecceasty in urban arweas. But when the two questions are linked together there is a 25% vote for.

I'm sure it was a great show. We had our Work show to attend followed by another free feed on Sunday with the neighbours.
The truth about Roachie is that he couldn't rely on either vehivle making it to
Peterborough.LOL :D)))

Dear, dear, dear.............Mr Des, your nose will grow if you keep fibbing like that. I made the great effort to cast my presence upon you and your friends at Tiddy Widdy a week or so ago, and all you blokes wanted to do was look under my bonnet......not at my leg!
Folks, when Des thought I wasn't looking, he was trying to work out what bolts he had to undo in order to transplant the Chevvy donk into his maroon mongrel 50 series!!!! hahahahaha
Willie, sorry we couldn't get there, I had been REALLY looking forward to seeing Judith and Jedda again.....(oh, and you too I suppose.....hehehehe). At least you had one of "my mates" there......I hope he behaved himself and wasn't a "pest".
Have a merry xmas.....
Roachie

Voted and latest responses are as follows,
0% (2) They enhance the look of vehicles
77% (454) They are necessary to protect my vehicle and myself
1% (5) They present a safety
hazard to pedestrians
4% (23) They are unnecessary in urban areas
18% (107) They present a safety
hazard to pedestrians and are unnecessary in urban areas
