Hello - just thought Id let all the Magellan eXplorist users out there know there are a series of new firmware upgrades available that include addition features not found on current versions. Magellan have taken user requests on board and have re-instated some of the screen
views previously available on the older Meridian series e.g. Road view, Multiple Fields (avg speed, max speed, eta, heading etc etc). The upgrades are provided on the Magellan website for European units but they appear to work fine US and Aus units ...not surprising considering they are the same..anyway - use at own risk - I’m just the messenger.
No updates for 500 or 600's as yet but anticipate there will be soon.
