Does anyone know if Hitech Diesel Injection at Kilburn in SA have a dyno?

Would you recommend them to do specialist diesel injector pump tuning?

Or are they more of a run of the mill reconditioning shop?

Put it this way. I take the 89 Pajero 2.5td to them because the sad truth of it is that if I took it to the local mechanic for injector work, he would send it into Hitech, slap 15% on their bill, re-type it with his letter head and call me to come and collect.

They are the Bees-Knees in SA. They get the right information from the Manufacturers of our diesel toys.

I have used the others who shall remain un-named. They get my old tub running at max power with no diesel smoke. I have a high flow turbo going to town on that motor.

Under the guide of getting the job right the first time, in S.A., you will go far to beat them.

I agree with Jason. They do not have their own dyno as far as I know, but they use one nearby. I had my Patrol tuned there a coupla years ago and was very pleased.....and yes, they provided me with a dyno printout (for what it's worth).

Good feedback chaps.

Thanks for that.

From when I used to work in Automotive, they had a good reputation as a reconditioner, in fact they used to carry a lot of "change over" reconditioned injector pumps.

Just was not so sure as to their abilities in the tuning and custom are.
Appreciate the feedback.
