80 series seat belt

the front drivers
seat belt is starting to fray new belt x toyota $300.00+. nothing wrong with the reel only the belt any help safe driveing mal

Try repco or similar aftermarket. Direct replacement tailor made after market are usually availiable. Don't try and save the reel, it's not worth the safety risk and don't risk a used seatbelt as you don't know it's history.

Funny story they used to tell when I was an apprentice at Holden related to your used seatbelt warning.
When seatbelts were first being introduced by law GM arranged a press release. They were to perform a stunt suspending a car over then General Managers Statesman to demonstrate the strength of seatbelts by securing it under a crane with a few carefully placed seatbelts.
They decided to do a dry run without the media to make sure it wasn't embarrassing and all went
well.
For some reason they didn't take into account the fact that seatbelts are rated to their maximum load for one use only.
The demonstration the following day was a disaster....
