Just been checking out jacks and have been looking at the Blackrat. Seems that they may be able to lift more = or is that a furphey?
Any more comments from the earlier post regarding these devices? Are they as good as the Hi-lift and Jack All...
Well I'm a dumbo and don't know ok!!

I was looking at the Blackrat as
well. Not too bad but the issue I came across was the servicing of it.
The ARB Hi-lift and Jackall both have kits available for servicing.
Like anything 4wd they wear out.
If you want it, get it CHEAP!
I rang ARB in South Aussie today for a quote on a Hi-lift . Price here was $140.
The Blackrat was $95.
I use all my recovery gear and get my money's worth.
!MPG:6! What happens when you get caught up in the scenery?

I think you'll also find the Blackrat leg spacing is different from others and won't fit on some jack holders.
