Yes I would, its a known problem with earlier GU rims and Nissan shoould know all about it. There was a lot of chat on EO about is some time ago, mainly due to the change in the ST from steel to Alloy rims and the replacements being the "lesser" model vehicle rims. Sadly
mine havent cracked and I didnt get a cheap upgrade to Alloy rims.
Ask Nissan to replace them all if only one has cracked. Mind you with a 98 model they may not be too keen.

Thanks I've had it from new and where I've been it scares me that Nissan had'nt alerted people to this problem! (like the recall on the panhard rod 5/00)

Had the same problem with a 02 Mk1 GU 3 ltr.
Took it back to the dealer and all 5 rims were replaced as soon as they could be shipped from Melb.
When I asked why there hadn't been a recall, I was advised that this was the first reported case!!
Go get em.
Cheers

just buy some Sunnys at $90ea, stronger, and better looking, and you can get different colours.

There was some discussion about it on Overlander a while back. One would think it was a safety issue though.
