I thought you ordered a navnet system which is arriving in mid-january?

Stir Doug in one post and then ask him a seemingly sensible question in the next......How strange.

Hi Doug,

Can you see which coms port its connected to on device manager? Can you see it as a drive in windows explorer?

My (wifes!) Nuvi 660 works fine and I have loaded MP3's no worries. Haven't tried waypoints, but don't expect it to be a problem. Seems strange it worked initially and then not at all.

Have you tried removing the SD card and then resetting it with the reset button under the antenna?

Cheers

Captain

Captain
Thanks for the suggestions but mate I was pushin' buttons for quite a while last until I just give up, then this morning I called the genius at Johnny Appleseed and we had it re-booted in no timem and now it's fine.

Hi Doug,

Disconnect GPS from PC, then go to add remove and remove the software. Now go into Control Panel, System, Hardware and then device manager. If their is a conflict anywhere remove this also. Now when all the above is done, reload as if brand new and it should pick it up.

Hope all goes well
