I understand the name for a one dimensional 12 sided object is a Duodecagon. (not sure the spelling is correct)

The regular dodecahedron is the Platonic solid composed of 20 polyhedron vertices, 30 polyhedron edges, and 12 pentagonal faces, . It is also uniform polyhedron and Wenninger model . It is given by the Schläfli symbol and the Wythoff symbol .

duododechedron i think you will find is the name given to our 50 cent piece
duo bieng the for the fact that it has both a vertical & horizontal surface but as i failed at high school i could be just full of it
