Hello to all, my first time here so i am purchasing a 1999 landcruiser ute, there is a wind noise which i think is comming from the snorkel up near my window, although it sounds like its comming from the quarter glass. I have been told it is a regular problem in the model. can anyone give me any advice?
Regards Chris.

Check the quarter window has a good seal.
The lever for opening mine was stuffed and i think a replacement was $70.
Fixed the wind noise on mine

You can run a bead of silicone around the contacting surfaces on the 1/4 window rubbers, this will make it a bit tighter. DON'T close the window until the silicone dries unless you don't want to use the window.
Or better still get the dealer to replace the latch and or rubber.
