Hi all,
Hope all had a good Xmas and has a great new year.
Kangaroo Island is a great place and is very family orientated. Would have been nice to share the adventure with a family.
The trip was full of adventure including making it to the ferry with 10 minutes to spare. I may do a trip report a little later.
I have uploaded a few pics and unfortuanetly did not get pics I really wanted. It was overcast most of the time. That is why there is black and white and close up shots of patterns in rocks.
Am hoping my slides come out a lot better as i am not overly happy with these ones.
anyway here a the links

The Island was a grat place before they put board walks every where and restricted access to beaches now just a tourist spot for city folk with prices to match. Bring back the old days 'when men were men and Kola's hid in the trees'.

Hey Peter - don't apologise for those photos. I would be boasting if I could get them half as good.
KI is a great place. Sure it was more isolated and "free" in the early 1960s when my wife taught there, but trouble is like everywhere else they have to construct board walks and stuff to stop people like us loving the place to bits. I reckon its still great to visit.
Happy travels!
Max

Hey great pics,
I was there in the mid 80's and enjoyed the freedom of the times.
But as said us tourists have a lot to answer for so the boardwalks are a nessary evil.
It looks like they have good roads now the back half of the island was all dirt back then
any way once again great pics thanks fror the memories
