Hi All
I was just wondering if anyone has or know of anyone with this brand of fridge. I had a look at a couple the other day and was very impessed (but then im easy to impress).
I know these were talked about here about 3 yrs ago but apparently the aussie company that distributes them has changed hands for the better.
I was impressed with the build quality and if the power draw is to be believed then it is worth paying the extra price.
Hence the reason I was looking for 1st or 2nd hand info.
Thanks
Peter

ozdragon,
These fridges are made in Sth Africa,
well made sure but they only use the Danfoss compressor most others use, so i can't see how they could be so much better, and the price! crazy!

Aus 4WD Monthly recently did a product review on them and seemed pretty impressed with their durability. Power consumption figures wouldn't set the world on fire, but seemed OK. Mind you at $1850 for the 40l and weighing in at 28kg in stainless, you would expect something pretty damn good!
Kinda think you would be better off with two 40l Engel/Waecos one for freezer and one for beer. Around the same price for double the capacity and redundancy to boot.
My thoughts,
Matt.
