Hi All,
Considering an upgrade on
suspension on my newer Hilux. Had a '99 SR5 with 3lt turbo. Busted my tibia plateau last April & not allowed or able to drive for about 4 months. In meantime my 21 yr old sold her Suzuki and drove my car. Ended up selling it to her & getting myself an '04 SR5 with 32,000km on it.
I put ridepro
suspension on the '99 Hilux. Found it satisfactory but would like something with better articulation and more comfort on road. Looking at TJM, EFS or OME set up.
Driving both vehicles the handling on the road of the older one with Ridepro is noticeably better on twisty roads than the the relatively new standard setup. Both have good tyres.
Any one with experience with these suspensions or other suggestions please respond.
Ta.

I put the ome springs back in the rear of
mine and added air bags. v comfortable for loaded touring.
For more rear articulation remove a leaf and use the bags.
Front articulation can't change unless you grind the bump stops which I definitely would not recommend
