Hi All,
I do not have a wireless broadband card but may need to access work via the internet next week on Straddie. Does anyone know of there are any internet cafes on the island?
Thanks

Hi,
There is public access at the library at Dunwich I believe.
The info below is from the local council and a call to them should sort it out for you.
Island Libraries Contact:
Mrs Marlene Magee
Phone: 07 3829 8681
Fax: 07 3829 8500
Email: marlenem@redland.qld.gov.au
Hope this helps

I guess this is not that helpful, but if you have a nextg phone you can get high speed broadband from anywhere on Straddie by using your phone as a modem.
Indeed it worked perfectly for me from Main Beach over Christmas. Just gotta watch those kilobytes (or pay $$$$).
