Well that makes two of us Mr.F. Ever since I was very small I have dreamt I could fly. Took some lessons a few years ago and was flying the small Cesna after say 5 mins in the air. The instructor looked at me and seriously asked me just how many lessons I had had. I said that this was my first and he couldn't believe it.
I just told him I already knew how to fly because I had done it in my mind for so long. Loved it then and still do. Everything makes sense from the air.

Cheers.

Looks like a bit of weight in it , might be a bit hard on the anatomy at landing time

would be really great to do!
I felt the same when I first saw the Powerchute years ago, thought what a great thing to take out the desert and fly around.
After having a test flight I was hooked but then reality kicked in and as the total cost then started at around $14k I was out of the race with a young family etc.
Had a couple of flights in the powerchute and it was a real buzz, pretty safe too as you have a inflated chute already above you.
I think it was Glenn Ridge took one over into the Rudal River area and managed to stack it pretty well, from memory there were no lasting damage to the pilot but the chute was pretty bent.
