We came back in April last year, and although i don't know what the temperature was, it was mild, sunny and very pleasant.

Ahh

Well its the start of the change of season for us. Temperatures start to drop to the mid 20's down to 14 or so. You travel quite close to the coast so the sea temps and winds can make a sudden change. More than likely you will be driving in to the wind as all of Southern Australia's major weather moves in a pattern from the west. April is a good month to travel and the weather should be good with clear days and minimal rain.

Cheers

Have just been over and back at Christmas time. It was cloudy and showery each way with very mild temperatures. I think it is in the lap of the Gods depending on the actual day day of travel.

Hi! Theo

Still working 2007, on leave at start of 2008, retire on 4 July 2008

Still trying to find money for a BT + a new truck. The 80 series has 300K on it now and has to last until late 2008 or early 2009.

I see that you are still sniffing around BTs

Cheers

Ah yes, we have a couple of more years to go before retirement but have to get the van part rolling so to speak. The decision also includes a largish car port for the van.

Kind regards

Theo, we levelled a pad to park the van on, but no car port. We keep the solar panels working, and leave lights on to balance the power usage. One caravaner built a you-beaut shed for theirs, with perspex type clear sheeting over the solar panels.

Hi Motherhen,

I’m hoping to keep the van for a while and wanted to make sure that it won’t be weather affected whilst parked at home. The carport will need to be high to fit a full sized off road van and attachments. My neighbours have lived next door for 17 years and are agreeable but have just placed their house on the market – so it is a priority.

Kind regards

Theo
