We have just returned from
camping in the
Rockhampton QLD area. So naturally my wife wants a fan in the camper trailer (bloody hot).
I remember reading posts on using old computer fans, but can't find the post.
Can anyone give me some ideas on what they use for fans.
Marty.

You could buy one of these Coleman fans for around $50:

We have a portable coleman one that runs on 4x D-cell batteries. Works ok but not a huge airflow and batteries might last a day.
I spotted a 12v one at whitworths (marine supplies place) - looked good, might be on sale at the moment. Site Link

I do a lot of sleeping in the car when on the Job and all i ever use is a cheap Chinese made fan from the Auto accessory shops, Much rather a good quality Fan though so next time I need a fan it's of to a Kenworth Dealer and get a damn good metal bladed fan , I don't know how much they are but will outlast many cheap ones.
I did get an idea once that an Electric Thermo Radiator fan would be a good idea so I parted with $135.00 and mounted it on the cargo barrier , geez it blew some air ok, I nearly had to tie myself down plus it was too noisey , it's now wasting away in the storage bin in my Caravan .
I must admit that Coleman Fan looks interesting though
