Hi, Guys!
I bought an old troopy couple of months ago and I am trying to get it in shape. I am just wandering whther any of you have ever installed or heard about anyone installing a DIY intercooler into a TOYOTA LANDCRUISER HJ75.
You might complain why do I need an Intercooler for a H2 engine which originally doesn't have any turbo.
Well This one has been already upgraded (but rather a slack upgrade) by an aftermarket turbo. However there is no PCV ventilation problem solved whit this installation which I'd like to solve by adding an open vent oil catch can and in adittion to that I was thinking about modifying the current wattage and torque by adding an intercooler.
That's why I'm looking for anyone who's got some idea of what to do and what not to do.
Thanks for every comment.

G'Day Petr,
Older Troopy's had cooling problems with turbo fittted.
Would suggest easiest solution is to get a water/air intercooler from Denco Diesel.
They advertise on this site so a link should be not too far away
Hope this helps

I would fit a front mount intercooler; it’s all fairly strait forward if you have some idea about what you are doing.
The Pipe work would be the only tricky bit if you are custom fitting it and are new to it and don’t have the rite tools.
Otherwise I would go for a Pre manufactured unit built to fit
Cheers
