Where do GQ drivers with a front bench seat put their possessions?

Gday guys.
My GQ has the front bench seat, and my guess is that those with 2 front seats (as opposed to my 3) there is something inbetween the front seats for you to put your wallet, phone, ciggos etc... I have this attachement in mine, sorta like a housing for my headunit that sits on top of the dash in the middle because the original cd player spot is where the cb is. I put my crap on the dash when i drive and yea, i lost my street directory out the passengers side window yesterday and my phone almost followed suit... Dont really wanna relive that again so i was wondering where others in my situation put their things.

And since im askin questions... Does anybody know of a set of quality aftermarket speakers that fit in the front doors of the gq while still keeping the stock grills. The ones i salvaged from the excel are too big :( kinda sad considering they are worth near $400...
