Hey all,
Well i just got a call this week advising me that I got was selected for a position in
Broome!!!
I currently live in
Perth and got my 2003 3.0ltr Patrol 2yrs ago and have been fitting it out ever since. Full roof rack, Micjhelles Sacs canvas roof bagMichelles sacs canvas
seat covers, Dual Batteries, 40ltr Engel with transit bag and fridge slide, Cooper ATR 305/75 tyres and of course my latest addition the LPG system.
I just knew that I was getting my car set up for some reason!!
I have been to the
Kimberley before and know that the biggest issue is the corrogated pindan tracks. My current shockies and
suspension has had its day so I want to get a reliable set up that will endure the punishing corrogations such as the Gib River road. After reading a recent 4x4 Magazine that did a full
test on
suspension I am feeling that the King Springs with the Iron Man foam cell shocks perform
well for the budget price, plus I need the 2'' lift for the bigger boots the old girl is wearing. I know there have been many previous posts about
suspension and had read most, but would like to get soem
feedback from those of you that have soaked up many
miles of corrogations yourselves.
So anyhow my wife, 3 kids and myself are totally stoked about going bush, and what a place to go to!!!
Geez I think I may have to become a member of this site so I can report on my adventures and throw in some piccies from time to time.
Cheers
