Thanks Mike,
A very interesting read to say the least !!!
Appears the owner of the station he was found on does believe he was lost for quite some time.

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

Wow thats sad but his history definitely worked against him, in very many ways.
What a story of survival, bopples to the rescue.

Thanks Mike
ineresting reading to say the least but having lived and worked out that way i gotta have doubts about the local lads drugging anyone knocking off his drugs maybe but they wouldnt waste money on drugs to knock anyone out
but i guess we will just have to enjoy the mans "story"
Cheers

Hi Mike,
Like many others I'm sceptical about aspects of this story. I do believe he got himself bushed. However, it's the first part of the story I have some difficulty coming to grips with.
I've often stopped to help Aborigines beside the road. In all cases I've been waved on. Particularly in the area he's talking about.
I agree with the Elder and Barney. Aborigines don't drug people. It's not in their nature and beggars belief.
It would appear this
young fellow got himself into a situation (bogged car) and started walking.
Knowing the country up there, I'd also question the amount of time he was in the bush. It's possible, but not likely in summer.
Regards
Kim
