I have a CDMA PCMCIA Card now and it works well, it will be changed over the a new NEXT G card for free when I get my e-mail from the

NEXT G is meant to be better than CDMA and if you look at the coverage map you will see why..

I do not work for Telstra or Bigpond but I do connect with them..

Regards

Richard

You can, but if your laptop already has wireless built in which most do now, you dont need them.

We are in middle of testing several models through telstra at work, but have had a few doubts on most..

They slot in fine, but they have these 2 little plastic tabs that stick out and up which is the reciever and another bloke testing has broken 1 already
this particular one, the tab sticks straight up at the side of the LTop, and when he brought his hand back to the machine, WACK.. off it went. this is on an old T30 IBM Stinkpad.

Here you get an idea of the tabs, not a GOOD photo, but only one I can find at moment.

The theory is good... but yea, still a bit off I'd say from being great.

We use the Telstra miniMax USB aircard version extensively in the Company and i even know a few spots in the High Country where i can get my emails with the wireless card.
Can only recommend them , very handy indeed.
