Gday Kev and Richard - Idid, although it was a couple of years ago now, Nick from tassie who mooved up here last
yea has done it more recently....I have only done the KNX - Duncan highway then Buchannon highway to Hells Crack, but I am told the Buchannon to the east of Nicholson station towards Kathryn is really good - I may get there this year.
We just did a quick trip.
Camping at the
Negri river and at
Marella gorge. We had a great time and the scenery was fabulous.
Marella gorge was spectacular, and I am tol we didn't see half of it, but the wife was pregnant and Brianna was 18 months at the time so the hiking/rockclimbing wasnt vigorously persued!
Bugger, now you've highlighted something else for early dryseason I have to do - its the best time to see everything up here, as the
water can stop flowing into the swimming holes etc pretty early!
I don't think anyone would be dissapointed with a trip along these roads
