We had a bit of mould on the carpeting in the house under a chair, we threw the chair out and used a heap of bi-carb soda on it. Cleaned it right up. Dunno it that will work outside, but i dont see why it wouldnt.

We've used Exit Mould (bathroom mould remover) successfully on canvas boat awnings, works very
well however the awnings are white - don't know what bleaching effect (if any) the Exit Mould would have on coloured material.
Might bleach it so maybe test on an inconspicuous area if you go down this path.

Hi Dave, the childbride says sponge with white vinegar & adds that exposure
to
bright sunlight will kill the fungus. The lady only made one mistake so this
should work :)))....oldbaz.

Dave
We've had it a couple of times. Just waited till we had it out in a caravan
park (as we keep it in storage), got a bucket of hot
water and the cheapie
shop broom we keep for washing the van, and scrubbed it inside and out. Just used plain
water and the same broom to rinse. Then left it our to dry and put up with drops of
water in ears till it happened.
Dead set easy and no fancy chemicals.
Certainly rejected the idea of paying big money to caravan shops for the fancy stuff.

DO NOT USE BLEACH OF ANY DESCRIPTION ON PLASTIC AWNINGS.
Some car wash detergent applyed as suggested with a broom should do the trick, make sure you rinse and leave open to dry...
