what are the biggest tyres/wheels that I can put on a 05 Rodeo without having to start modification?

with no modifications 31x10.5 r15 or 265/70r16 fit with no problems. speedo gets within 1km at 100 accurate.

i assume your standard tyres are 265x70x16 ht tyres. You can fit 265x75LT tyres and even they will rub a bit but not so as to worry but that is it

original tyres are 245x70r16.
265x75r16 which i use are 50 mm taller and can only be used with a suspension lift and mud flap trim. standard rims are not an issue as they were with the r9.

Hmm the glx-r at work came with 265x70 and now has bridgstone 265x75 which rubs ever so slightly only sometimes

checked the manual and 245/70 standard. not sure what model you are talking about as glx-r not mentioned in mine.
as yours arrived with different tyres maybe the suspension had been done as well.

05 Rodeo has load index of 111 S. Can not go below 111 in load index, 31 10.50r15 is load index 109. I dont think 15inch will clear disc brake calipers.
