A couple of years ago a member on this
forum was kind enough to send me a photocopied catalogue of various lengths/sizes of flexible radiator hoses. I've done a search and came up with heaps of hits, but nothing that resembles the post where I asked the question those 2 or 3 years ago.
So, I was wondering if that kind person (or anybody else) has any info on the brand name etc of this type of radiator hose. The Chev-Nissan has non-standard hoses and a call to Brunswick Diesel reveals that they have changed the types and lengths of hoses they use (as they have changed the type of radiator they use on a few occasions), so they couldn't tell me what I need.
They suggested I need to measure the length of the hoses and the radiator spigot diameter, which I am more than happy to do, but then I need to have a catalogue (I guess) so I can ascertain what to order.......just like to have a couple of spares when I travel.
Any suggestions as to websites etc would be appreciated.....Google was not my friend on this occasion.. ;-((
Thanks for any responses......

Sorry, forgot to point out that the copy of the catalogue I was sent has (apparently) been filed in the round filing cabinet in the corner of the shed!!!!!!

The Mob I buy my Parts off in the U.S have the types of hoses you require ( Flexible Universal fit)
Hear is the link to there website> store.summitracing.com/
Search under the Plumbing department and radiator Hoses for the sizes you what.
Being U.S all the measurements are in Inches thou, being an older bloke that should make it easier for ya LOL
To give you an idea the Braded Stainless Steal “Spectre Industries” Radiator Hoses retail for $130 each in Australia, You can buy them off summit for US$25!!!
Oh and these guys are very easy to deal with and I have never had any problems with them, and there after sales service and warranty is very good.
Cheers.

Oh on a side note I have a 20.5 Inch long peace of said Hose 38mm ID.
It’s yours if you want it, as I don’t need it, I ordered the wrong length and it fowled on the front sway bar, Bugger LOL
I have trimmed it down to try and get it to fit, as a result only around 30mm of the hose ends will go over the Hose barb’s before it bottoms out on the Internal Ribbing. Still Ok and would be fine as a back up.

Thanks for the offer mate and I may end up going through the site in the USA. However, the mob that was mentioned before was in Australia and I did actually get one such hose via the local Repco store (they had to order it in of course).
The one's I'm referring to aren't braided type, but they are the ridged-rubber type with internal spring material inside them to keep em strong.
Thanks again champ.....(and yes, I am old enough to still 'think' in thous', but can also relate to the new metric stuff too.....hahaha).
Cheers
Roachie

Yep they are basically the same hose; they just have the Protective steel brading over the top of the rubber.
One other Thing, being American , Summit will most likely have replacement parts it ever needed at a latter stage for that Chev of yours, for a lot less than I would think you can get em for hear.
Cheers.
