G/Day All, has anyone fitted a Dpchip to the new common rail Prado, the outputs look impressive on paper, thanking you Friar.

Dchips are great because you can turn them on and off with the flick of a switch...

Hi,
I have fitted a steinbauer to my diesel Patrol & to diesel Terracan.

The diesel mechanic I purchased them from recommended this model over the others, he went into a lot of jargin that I did not fully understand.
He also let me take his new Navara dual cab for a drive which has the same chip.
I can tell you that the performance improvements they say do actually occur. My Patrol absolutely flies. Best part is the torque starts in a lot earlier, and has removed the turbo lag that is painful with the 3.0ltr diesels.

If your into buying one just
check to see if its plug and play or not. Cause if it isnt it will need to be spliced into the loom. You can also
check out DTUK they have a supplier here in AUS :)

Thanks for the reply,s, the chip plugs straight in to the loome,a friend has fitted one to his new pathfinder,very happy with extra power ,especially as he tows a van.
