Hi,
Was wondering if anyone had any ideas in regards to a divider in the fridge part of the 110lt Waeco, we have a problem with all our Amber cans falling over when we stack them, I have look on net and cant find a divider as part of an accessory, also a lid to cover the freezer part, as when we lift the lid the freezer air escapes.
Any Ideas???

my 110 is only a fridge or a freezer. it has a wire divider that can be moved 2 positions only. just put more beer in it and they wont fall over.lol

Try removing the wire mesh carrier and either put a whole block of grog in or use just the bottom half of the box to sit them in. Will they stack any better laying them on there sides? I have heard of people using cardboard over thier freezer section to keep in some of the cool air but i don't know how good the insulation value is or how long the cardboard lasts.
You could put the cans in the freezer section as this is a tighter fit, but of course this will mean sucking them dry before freezing and refilling more often.....Headaches comming on.

Try a peice of 3 ply wood or thick cardboard, something that can be cleaned or disposed of, across the bottom, i use a old hand towel to stop stuff rubbing on the wire basket, and i load a layer of cans in the bottom and all the rest of the stuff on top.
Havent put anything over the freezer, but would be a good idea.
What about a peice of syrefoam(spelling) or as suggested a thick cardboard.

I use the plastic chopping boards. Can get them in heaps of shapes and sizes plus they can be cut to shape.

I use the plastic waffle board that is used for signs to divide my fridge. Just pinch one from a real estate agent and cut it to size. They can afford some more!!!

"as when we lift the lid the freezer air escapes" How? It would appear you are using the Waeco sideways!
One of the advantages of chest style cabinets is their ability to retain cold air. Only hot air rises over the side of the fridge.

Apart from that, plastic cutting boards from Woolies or like are good, easy to cut, shape and customise.
Otherwise cardboard is cheap and ceerful.

Any plastic or cardboard divider will work as an insulator so bear in mind the cool down times of parts of the fridge will change.
