Can anyone steer me in the right direction, Melbourne Metro area or East for short term Sat Phone Rental..?? Searched the threads and couldn't see anything for Melbourne..?

Try Telstat Communications in Seaford. They do a lot of satellite stuff.

I have just rented on from Outbound 4WD Camping in Ballarat, the monthly rental was pretty good, calls a little expensive, however not a real issue as its just for emergencies.

terra, I rent my phone out, $40 a week plus call costs, $300 deposit. Maybe able to help you out, depends when you want it? John
